- Strongly resisting cracking and permeation : The product has sound adhesive force, anti-permeation and cracking, flexibility performances and capacity to prevent water in the wall body. During rainy days, the crack of cement on the wall makes moisture absorption; after some time, dirty rainwater flows out and the surface of tile is polluted. Joint mixture can prevent the water flowing in maximum, it improves waterproof performance of the decoration surface. This product is applicable to caulking of tile, stone materials etc.
Stable Color and constant : Color of the joint mixture plays a key role in the effect of building facade. The joint mixture is stable and constant in color. Therefore, such discoloring is avoided.
Long-time mildew prevention : It has the function of mildew prevention and keeps the decoration surface clean.
Various colors and choices : Various colors provide more choices for users. If a special effect on tile laying is wanted, the color of joint mixture and tile should be different. If unified effect of tile laying is hoped, the color of joint mixture and tile should be the same.
Quick and convenient construction : The joint mixture can be used directly after being blended with water. The construction process can speed up.
The Applying Of Joint Mixture
The hue of mixed joint mixture is subject to the environmental condition of construction,blending water quantity and construction method. The hue is determined after the sample is coate.
- Cross Locator
Cross Locator is applied for tile paving to raise the construction efficiency. It also makes the joint between laid tiles even orderly and nice-looking.
Bottom treatment
The joint mixture should be clean. Scrap, cement block or standing water should be kept away. If the joint is too dry, dampen it appropriately.
Consumption calculation
Due to different specifications and joint widths of tile, the consumption of joint mixture should be different. Please consult local dealers or the company’s staff
Agitation
Regular joint: add 5~6 liters of clean water into 20KGS of powder.
Wide joint: add 4~5 liters of clean water into 20KGS of powder.
Blending
Put water into the bucket first, then put powder slowly into the bucket. Blend it into the form of toothpaste. Store the paste for 5~10 minutes before applying it.
- Applying the joint mixture
After applying the joint mixture and before curing, use joint mixture trowel to press it to be even.
Cleaning
After curing, use a sponge with some water to clean off dirty on the tile surface. If the surface is not cleaned off due to non-conformed construction pre-stage, hydrochloric acid should be used for cleaning. Dilute hydrochloric acid to 3%, rinse the surface with water immediately after putting it on the surface. Be sure no hydrochloric acid residue is left on the surface, it will affect the color of the joint mixture.
Attention
(1)After tile is paved, the joint mixture trimming should be carried out as early as possible.
(2)Acid cleaner is not allowed for cleaning tiles with joint filled. The construction is not allowed to be carried under rainy conditions.
- Joint mixtureshould be applied 2 days later after tile is paved. The working temperature should be higher than 0℃.
- Clean tile surface and connection joint, dampen the surface with wet cloth without leaving water to reduce holes after dry
- Make color control of joint mixture, reduce powder orientation, wipe tile surface with cleaned dry cotton cloth within 1~2 hours after tile paving to remove moisture and leftover of joint mixture.
- Prevent drying of joint mixture within 2 hours(especially exposedunder sunshine). Cover the construction surface with natural draft paper to prevent contamination.
